Like all rescue disciplines, specific equipment is needed to engage in water rescue operations.

The most important is appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for personnel.

The VRSR document will identify the minimum equipment needed for a typed team. Assets must be moved from point A to B. This requires specialty vehicles, cargo, and boat trailers.
