PFD Requirements for Those on PWC or Skiing
Here are the Missouri PFD requirements for those riding on a PWC or being towed behind a vessel.
- Everyone on board a PWC while underway must wear a USCG–approved Type I, II, III, or V PFD.
- It is strongly recommended that all persons being towed behind a motorboat or PWC on water skis or any other device wear a USCG–approved PFD. Ski belts are not USCG–approved.
