K-9 Units

Officers of the MSHP have access to specially trained K-9 Units to assist in enforcement on the water. The purpose of the program is to assist law enforcement personnel in detecting controlled substances and related items, locating lost or missing persons, enhancing officer safety, and apprehending criminal suspects.
