Marine Events

Permits for regattas, races, marine parades, tournaments, exhibitions, or similar events to be held on District of Columbia waters must be obtained by applying for authorization from the Mayor at least 30 days prior to the event. If the event is being held on federally controlled waters, a permit from the USCG is required.
