When you’re close enough to the dock, what should you do?

There is no wind.

• Tie the draft line to the dock.
• Turn off the engine, and drift closer.
• Ask a passenger to step on shore and secure the bow line.
• Ask a passenger to grab the line on the dock and tie it to the stern.
